Experience:

Mr Brendan O’Daly is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon practising here at Beacon Hospital.

Mr O’Daly was appointed a Consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery at Tallaght Hospital, Dublin, Ireland (2013-present), with a sub-speciality interest in fracture fixation, post-traumatic reconstruction, hip and knee replacement. He joined Beacon Hospital in 2017.

He is a Clinical Lecturer in Postgraduate Surgery in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and a Senior Clinical Lecturer in Trinity College Dublin.

He is a member of the Advanced Trauma and Life Support and AO Teaching Faculty in Ireland, as well as Invited Faculty at numerous International trauma courses.

Training:

Mr O’Daly is a Fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon. He Graduated MB BCh BAO in 2003 from University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland. He was awarded his FRCS Tr&Orth Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012. Following the completion of a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Traumatology at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, University of Maryland, Baltimore, MD, USA.
